Make Thailand my Thailand your first stop for travelling Thailand on a budget. I have asked hundreds of backpackers from all over the world for their impressions of Thailand.Most of them are thrilled by experiencing this wonderful culture,these friendly, smiling people and the diverse landscapes.
Unfortunately not all Thais can be taken at face value.Wherever tourists congregate there are Thais ready to make money on some rip-off or another.Backpackers and students are easy targets.Nobody rips me off here!
My first tip is NOT to go directly to Khao San Road on arrival in Thailand.
My second tip is don't accept a cheap ride in a Bangkok tuk-tuk.
